For caterers, food trucks, and BBQ businesses

Catering jobs are slipping away in your DMs.

Right now, catering inquiries come in through Facebook DMs, Instagram messages, and missed calls. By the time you reply with a price, they have already booked someone else.

BookedPlate gives every guest an instant price and sends you the inquiry the second it comes in, so you reply first. And if a guest stalls, BookedPlate follows up for you until the job is booked or closed.

Sound familiar?

Inquiries everywhere

A DM here, a text there, a voicemail you find two days later. Good jobs slip through the cracks.

Quoting by hand

After a long day, you work out the price on paper and type it into a message, hoping the math is right.

Guests who go quiet

They asked for a price, you sent one, and then you never hear from them again.

Chasing money feels awkward

Deposits and balances mean reminder calls and texts nobody enjoys sending.

Two events, one Saturday

A double-booked date, and the worst phone call of your week.

None of that is a cooking problem. It is a follow-up problem. Follow-up is exactly what BookedPlate does.

How it works

1

Share your link

Put your quote form on your website or in your bio.

2

Guests get an instant price

They pick a date, headcount, and menu, and see the estimate right away. It is a real number too, with your delivery fee and tax included, so there are no surprises later.

3

Guests book it themselves

They pay a deposit from their own booking page, their date gets blocked, and the inquiry flips to Booked. You get a confirmation email and just show up and cater.

4

BookedPlate chases the rest

If a guest goes quiet before paying the deposit, BookedPlate emails them for you, and saved quotes get a reminder too. Booked guests get a polite balance reminder before the event. Every booking those emails bring back is marked on your dashboard, so you can see what they earned you.

What changes when follow-up is handled

Deposits land on their own

Your link does the quoting, and the deposit arrives without a phone call.

Dates protect themselves

A booked date blocks itself, so nobody double-books it.

Quiet guests get chased

Follow-ups and balance reminders go out on their own, and every recovered booking is marked on your dashboard.

The job usually goes to the caterer who replies first, not the one who cooks best. BookedPlate makes the fast reply happen before you even pick up your phone.

Questions caterers ask

How much does it cost?

Free for 14 days. After that, $29 a month at the founding price for the first 25 caterers, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. The standard price is $39 a month.

Do you take a cut of my deposits?

No. Deposits go straight from your customer into your own Stripe account. BookedPlate takes no cut of your deposits and never holds your money.

I don't have a Stripe account. Can I still use this?

Yes. You get one as part of setup, it takes a few minutes, and your deposits land in it from then on.

How does a customer get a quote?

You share one link. They pick a date and a headcount and see a real price from your menu right away, no phone call, no waiting on a reply.

What happens when someone gets a quote and goes quiet?

BookedPlate follows up for you by email: two follow-ups when a deposit goes unpaid, a reminder for a saved quote, and a balance reminder before a booked event. Replies come straight to your inbox.

Do I have to take deposits?

No. Deposits are your choice, a fixed amount or a percentage. You can also approve each booking yourself before a deposit, or confirm a booking by hand with no deposit at all.

I'm not good with technology. How hard is setup?

We load your menu with you. If you can answer a Facebook message, you can run BookedPlate.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel in your billing page, no contract, no cancellation call. Your form stays live through the end of the period you paid for.

Your next inquiry could book itself.

One quote form, one dashboard, and a follow-up system that books jobs while you cook.
